O Ok, so this will carry over to FUTURE Students, not just the existing students?
Forgive me, I think this is what you said but just double checking!

BTW: Are all the other schools like these under 30 thousand or are there other schools that work like the north catholic school will, meaning you can make more and still attend?

The offer for current North students will probably not be valid for the 2011 year since continuity was the main reason for the offer to all current North students. The income guidelines will probably be set keeping in mind the neighborhood demographics. The people who proposed the Crist Rey school have always said they wanted the school to serve the people from the area.

Daily News columnist Ronnie Polaneczky asks why can't the Archdiocese keep North open for one more year until Cristo Rey takes over.

Yes, I realize that it does not apply to students already in North. I was referring to new students. Sorry I forgot to mention that. But what about the parents who live in Bridesburg. I don't think there are many families here who make under $30,000/yr. So, are they trying to get more kids from "low income" neighborhoods where most parents already send their kids to public schools and exclude the kids from neighborhoods like Bridesburg???

Again, the income would be higher than the $ 30 K & would be more in-line with the income of the surrounding neighborhoods, Bridesburg included.

That would/will be nice and work well.

Is that West Catholic still open?
If so, wonder how enrollment is there as you would think they would of shut down before North, etc beings the demographics of the area.
