Is it the same guy who had the vacuum store at Wheatsheaf and Aramingo? That guy was good too.

Forget the Dyson! They only look good! For that matter, forget any bagless vacuum. Joe's repair shop is full of them! They ALL blow dust into the air. You need a good Riccar with Hepa filtration and steel or wooden roller. He'll show you the difference.

As an advertising campaign, Oreck gave most of the top ranked Hotels free Vacuums. It worked. People saw them at Comfort Inns, Hiltons and Sheratons and thought that they must be great vacuums if all of these Hotels used them!

thanks for the info.
yeah, i'm not a fan of the bagless - when you empty them the dust gets all over.
i heard that the dyson isn't all it's cracked up to be - and they charge you $500 for it! that's crazy. there are vacuums out there that are far better and aren't as expensive. it's always good to check some cunsumer websites first as well.

Bought a used Oreck and it needs to be fixed. It does not pick up dirt. LOL.
I wonder how much it will cost or if it eis even worth it. Do they do free estimates?
